Recovery

 

Day in and day out of training takes a toll on the body. It is very important that CrossFit athletes take the necessary steps to maximize recovery. For example when I was training for the South East Regionals last year I would take 2 Ice Baths and 2 Epsom Salt baths per week. I would also get a deep tissue massage Wednesday night, since my "off day" was Thursday, giving my body a chance to recover from the massage.
