1. What brought you to CrossFit?

I went to a Saturday community class with my wife a long time ago because we were curious about the whole CrossFit thing. After Sarah and I got done, she signed right up while I slowly died in the car. More than a year later, I was doing my own workouts, but I wasn't getting in better shape. I finally joined up when I realized my knees ached, legs burned and I was winded after climbing one flight of stairs to work.

2. What was your first impression?

It reminded me of my high school swim team. It's a individual sport but also a community.

3. What’s been your biggest accomplishment?

Just being able to squat more than my body weight. My legs have always been my weak bits. I want them to be stronger so I'm able to enjoy being active 30 years from now!

4. What are you working on now?

Still getting my legs stronger and being more aggressive with bar work :)

5. What’s your favorite Black Bolt CrossFit memory?!

Even though I was really late to the party, the holiday party was a lot of fun!
