1. What brought you to CrossFit?
What brought me to CrossFit was that people all shapes and sizes were working out together and not one person was even judging , each person was cheering the other on.It reminded me of my college softball days and made me think of my CrossFit family as my team.
2. What was your first impression?
At first I was very intimidated! It was people lifting a lot heavier weights than me and then adding new movements on top of that. I didn’t know what to expect, I just knew it would be very hard, but now I’m improving and love the challenges!
3. What’s been your biggest accomplishment?
My biggest accomplishment would be recently getting a lifetime PR for back squat… 205!!! I have been back squatting for as long as I can remember but I never thought I could get my number that high!
4. What are you working on now?
Right now , I’m working on squat snatches and anything overhead because those movements for me are not so great!
5. What’s your favorite Black Bolt CrossFit memory?
I don’t think I have an exact favorite memory but the most memorable would be when I do decide to go to class at 5:30 or 6:30 in the morning Jason and Sam like to try to wake me up or say “wow your so pumped for this workout” lol it actually does wake me up a little lol :)
