1. What brought you to CrossFit?

A friend of mine was coaching Crossfit and introduced me to it initially. I was really interested in seeing what it was all about and decided to join a gym so he told me which gym would be a good fit. The rest is history!

2. What was your first impression?

These workouts are NO JOKE. I had never pushed myself so hard in the gym before since I'm super competitive and didn't want to lose! I was a fan of the healthy competition and the community aspect from the start.

3. What’s been your biggest accomplishment?

When I first started Crossfit in May 2017, I couldn't do a single pull up and I wanted to be able to do them so badly. Now I can do 8 strict pull ups! And competing in my first 2 competitions this past year. I never imagined I would ever compete in this sport!

4. What are you working on now?

Muscle ups… ;|

5. What’s your favorite Black Bolt CrossFit memory?

The 2017 open! I was still really new to the gym so I loved coming to Friday Night Lights and being able to meet all the other members. The atmosphere was so awesome and supportive!
